Our Video

This is our final video for this blog. Each of our team members filmed themselves introducing and
explaining the subtopics that we all wrote about.

Member contribution: Each member filmed their own art individually according to discussions we had in class about ideas for the video. Then, each group member came to the next class with their video on a USB and gave it to Emma. Emma then combined all of the clips together with her own to create this video. She then sent it to the group members via Facebook chat and Wikispaces before uploading to ensure everyone liked and agreed with the final look of the video.

Chicken potato salad recipe

Hi guys! Have you tried the food recommendation in hub this week?  Final exam is coming. When you are busy in reviewing, don't forget to have a balanced diet. Today I 'd like to share a healthy recipe, Chicken potato salad. It's easy for every people to make it at home.

First, put the chicken breast into boiled water for 8 minutes, then add 1 tsp salt. Then  Sliced the chicken. Cut the carrots and potatoes in to small pieces, placed them in a pot and pour water in it, boil   them for 4 minutes. After this two steps, transferring  all things in a bid salad  bowl,   add 2 cups beans, 3 diced eggs, 1 tsp olive oil and some cream cheese, mixed them! Just wait for 3 minute and enjoy this salad!

Sport Club in Macquarie

Another way to get involved to play sport is joining one of the Macquarie University’s sporting clubs.

In Macquarie, each sport club has different level of competition so that you can compete for your goal such as Mac Warrior or just makes friends and fun.

Once you become a club member, you are able to attend the competitions, which are hold by state, nation etc.

There are many clubs in our campus, which involve:

l   Table tennis club

l   Australian football club

l   Scuba diving club

l   Soccer club

l   Cricket club

If you cannot find your interested sport club above, don’t worry. There still have many other sport clubs in our university. Here is a link that you can find all the sport club.

Marxine's Cafe

Marxine’s is located at the entrance to the Macquarie University food court, its beautiful décor and vibrant ambience hard to miss.

The café offers cheap coffee – perfect for those on a budget, plus an impressive array of snacks to compliment including rocky road, cheesecakes and pastries.

Ideal for those students who have some time on their hands, it's a great atmosphere to sit down and catch up with a friend or if you are feeling in need of a study snack, there is plenty of room to get some work done.

The staff are super friendly and always up for a chat, whilst managing to skilfully negotiate the masses throughout peak university times.

How to Best Study for an Exam

There are a few steps I go through to study for an exam, and to basically mentally prepare myself!!

Firstly, I obviously write down when all of my exams are for certain classes- this helps me to prioritise my time. I also like to start studying about 2-3 weeks out from the exam, as any sooner I would forget stuff and I’m usually busy completing assignments anyway!

I have compiled my study process into 7 easy steps for you all to follow!

Step 1: Hand write a glossary for all terms

Step 2: Include any examples if needed

Step 3: Hand write all/any flow charts (e.g. structures, order of things for example a business buying process)

Step 4: Highlight all key words

Step 5: Transfer my glossary onto an app called StudyBlue, a free app for iOS and Android systems that helps you test yourself

Step 6: Read over handwritten notes a lot and get tested on those by a friend

Step 7: Then test myself on StudyBlue twice daily up until the exam

If you follow these steps I can almost guarantee you will be ready for exams in no time!

The movie about sport can shot the Macquarie Studests' sports

This is the movie about basketball in China.The story begins on the last day of the exam. Taizui protagonist is an introverted, shy and not confident of the 15 year old boy.
