Desk and Study Space Organisation

One of the first, and most important, things you should do to start getting organised for university is to create or decorate an exisiting study space or desk area. Firstly, make sure to put your desk near a window for natural light, so you’re not straining your eyes. If this is not possible for you, add a cute desk lamp to your desk. I personally love something like this:
Make sure to leave the surface of the desk clear and uncluttered so you feel more organised and you aren’t stressing about finding things when you need them. I really like having a corkboard in front of me to pin important things to, such as exam dates, study notes, inspirational sayings and pictures of me and my friends.
I personally love listening to some classical music, such as the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings soundtracks, whilst I study so it’s a great idea to have a portable speaker on your desk to play some tunes whilst you do assignments and study for your exams.
It’s always helpful to have your own printer so you don’t have to worry about lining up to print things at the last minute.
Finally, use a calendar to keep track of important dates, events and to count down to exciting things such as holidays!
